The Role:
Work as member of Company construction management team for the Product Loading Facility (PLF) scope of work. Oversee EPC contractor and PLF subcontractor to ensure compliance with all contract requirements and that the Project Execution Plan is followed.

Provide visible safety and environmental protection leadership. Drive Project goals with respect to Zero Accidents Plus program. Role model the Companies Injury and Incident Free behaviours. Ensure enforcement of Project requirements.

Monitor PLF field execution to ensure the Project objectives are met with regards to safety, environmental protection, quality, schedule, and cost. Report any non-compliance. Proactively facilitate resolution of problems.

Review contractor/ subcontractor daily work plans, permits, method statements, HAZID's, JSA's, ITP's, and etc. to assure all is in order. Monitor site activities to assure compliance to plans. Participate in QA audits and investigations.

Support efforts of Contracts Administration and Project Controls through assisting the site team with progress reporting, verification of quantities, etc.

Support the site team with timely notification of possible interface or other site issues such as material shortages or engineering matters that may have potential to cause disruption or delays to the works.

Describe any unique complexity that should be considered when evaluating this position:

This position will be considered part of the Company’s site construction management team for marine works. The PLF facility will be an important integral part of the Wheatstone Downstream Project and will require substantial interfacing with other project teams and subcontractors executing other scopes of work. The PLF will involve work both onshore and in difficult tidally affected, shallow coastal waters. The position will be rotational at the construction site in a remote area of northwestern Australia. The job will require occasional visits to contractor and subcontractor offices in Perth, and to various off-site fabrication yards anticipated to be in locations within Western Australia and the SE Asia region.

This position will be responsible for assisting the Company’s construction management team in overseeing the off-site fabrication works, mobilization, and on-site construction for the Product Loading Facility (PLF) and associated facilities. The work will include direct oversight of the Project EPC contractor and indirect oversight of the various subcontractors.

The scope of work for these facilities includes construction of the following facilities:
• A ~ 1.3 kilometer long access trestle supporting a roadway, piping, and electrical cables
• Approximately 35 pipe rack modules containing ~19 kilometers of process and utility piping
• A loading platform and equipment for loading LNG and condensate onto ocean-going ships
• Ship berthing facilities with mooring and breasting dolphins capable of accommodating vessels from 80,000 DWT condensate tankers to 215,000 cubic meter capacity LNG carriers.
• Marine operations platform and associated topside facilities.
• Tug boat berthing facilities (inside harbor)
• Mooring facilities at the Material Offloading Facility to accommodate roll-on roll-off vessels providing site delivery of various plant equipment
• Various navigational aid channel marker structures
• A temporary sea-water intake platform and topside facilities
