The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Manage and oversee the positioning of the client’s products competitively throughout the market through effectives pricing strategies.
1. Develop and innovate pricing strategies for all products of the client to target different customer groups.
2. Prepare annual price improvement for the core product lines (strategic pricing/value proposition differentiation) in order to align with the client Sales plan and market competition.
3. Coordinate with marketing and sales divisions in order to align efforts and consolidate different marketing and sales strategies.
4. Provide input during the formulation of sales & marketing campaigns.
5. Oversee and coordinate implementation of the different pricing strategies in order to ensure proper segmentation of the product ranges of the client.
6. Analyse the sales figures in order to assess the performance of the implemented prices strategies against sales plan across all product categories.
7. Review the price analysis report, and monitor the market in order to identify and report any significant changes in pricing trends.
8. Meet with production managers regularly in order to update product specification and improve the various cost structures.
9. Keep abreast of any major developments in the petrochemical industry regionally as well as globally that could impact the client.
10. Ensure all pricing strategies adhere to the client’s regulations and ethical code of conduct.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Managerial duties:
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by Division staff.
2. Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with the client’s policies and procedures.
3. Assess the current skill set of employees and identify the need for development programs.
4. Motivate, coach, develop and support respective employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration or any related field.
