The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Represent Global Product Group (LPBS) in the UK to grow sales and market. Define, plan and ensure implementation of product marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy. Oversee all sales and marketing activities, and support sales organisations in driving sales and services of respective products.

1. Strategy leadership
Creates, plans and ensures implementation of the local go-to–market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the
global product marketing strategy.
2. Performance targets
Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focus on achievement of Total Demand Orders (company and 3rd Party), Gross Margin %, Net Price Variance , Net Promoter Score (NPS), Inventory turn on stocked finished goods, and Customer requested On-Time Delivery.
3. Marketing and Business Development
Develop and implement annual marketing plan in conjunction with product groups. Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market. Evaluate market opportunities and decide appropriate activities in line with the strategy. Coordinates opportunities across local Divisions and local Business Units where appropriate.
4. Growth
Achieve growth expectations in line with Global PG and Local Division strategy.
5. Sales Support
Ensure profitable business growth in the domestic market. Ensure a balanced growth through all product lines in PG. Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach. Implement PG market pricing policy. Provides product and technical support to sales team.
6. Customer Relations and Satisfaction
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Understand customer need in the market by visiting customers. Ensure the customer satisfaction surveys are executed; analyse results and assist on corrective actions. Develop and implement product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction in cooperation with PG Global Marketing and Sales. Drive continuous improvement on NPS. Ensure the resolution of customer issues.
7. Logistics and Delivery
Work together with Order Handling team and Logistics team to ensure operational efficiency on inventory and customer satisfaction on delivery.
8. Safety & integrity
Implement HSE and business compliance standards and regulations in the country in the area of responsibility.

Sales skills:

Soft skills:
- Sociable, stress-tolerant, culturally sensitive, flexible, good negotiation skills, communication and listening skills, self-motivated, and independent.
- The ability to change and adapt his/hers own approach according to the situation. sales competences
- Market and Business Intelligence knowledge
- Sales process orientated thinking
- Knowledge of the main commercial terms and risks, values business ethics & compliance and integrity principles
- Easily builds long term customer relationships and is customer orientated
- Uses variety of different selling approaches and skills and has a strong sales drive
- Teamwork, good team player, good team leadership skills, networking skills, fosters personal development
Technical skills:
- Strong technical abilities
- Technical knowledge of <1 kV products or/and sys
