The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Our client’s Special Operations Division operates as a nimble ‘business within a business’ and is focused towards increasing profitability through leveraging our customers’ desire to personalise their vehicles.
Key strategic elements include:
• Pushing the boundaries of our clients brands to provide customers with more premium & luxury vehicles.
• Developing a range of accessories to enhance the sporting and lifestyle attributes of our vehicle range.
• Enhancing the premium customer experience through vehicle personalisation and exclusivity.

Lead the product planning and strategy on a number of vehicle lines from initial conception through to launch and beyond. The role is in the Product Marketing team and is responsible for ensuring the accessory range and products are right for the Customer, the Brand & client Business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Be the key accessories interface between Vehicle Personalisation and Global Product Marketing for your programmes.
• Own the creation and development of accessory vignettes for a number of Land Rover vehicles, delivering compelling and profitable product ranges. Acting as the lead for voice of customer/market input and Market Research. Using this information to provide clear input into Design, Engineering and Programme Teams.
• Pro-actively identify accessory product opportunities to optimise customer proposition and accessory profitability.
• Lead the Pre- creation and alignment of pricing and volumes with Aftersales and key markets, including developing business cases for new / innovative product opportunities.
• Support Global Product Managers in preparing briefing & presentation material for senior Brand / Product launch reviews, Gateway reviews and other cross functional meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Experience of a Product Planning role and/or a Customer & Market focused product creation role
2. Proven ability to analyse and create strong business case justifications 3.
3. Ability to form good working relationships with internal and external facing teams and get consensus on the key decisions regarding accessories products

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience of sales forecasting
Product strategy experience
Thorough knowledge of our clients brands, products, competitors, and positioning.
