The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Lead the development and implementation Sadara Product Quality System and compliance.
1. Measure, optimize, leverage, and standardize the effectiveness of product quality strategy, organization, work processes, and quality certification.
2. Lead the translation of the overall PQ&A strategy into goals and activities for the department and guide implementation in order to support the engineering function in attaining its objectives.
3. Lead the development of PQ&A policies and standards for the company, ensuring that best practices and industry standards are reflected in the policies, in order to provide guidelines to for analyses and studies and to support operations.
4. Lead the implementation of Statistical Technology (SPC/SQC) to manage product quality.
5. Take responsibility of proper and overall implementation of the PQ&A supporting tools (including IT tools).
6. Ensure PQ&A work process is properly integrated with other work processes and functions.
7. Plan and supervise the implementation of quality audits for maintenance/ engineering to ensure that work is as per standards.
8. Ensure PQ&A and Service related customer needs are properly documented and addressed in the business strategy.
9. Accountable for assuring product quality compliance with ISO standards, local regulations, and GMP requirements throughout the site.
10. Assist Maintenance and Engineering in the evaluation of potential contractors to ensure that they possess the required quality and regulatory capabilities to supply the desired services.
11. Co-ordinate the investigation of highly complex technical problems with respect to quality issues and ensure that internal customers are evaluated as a results of investigations.
12. Ensure that all principles, procedures and practices are strictly comply with EH&S guidelines, regulatory and permit requirements.
13. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor / manager.
Managerial Duties:
1. Direct and manage respective Divisions in performing their roles, responsibilities and delegated tasks.
2. Conduct performance evaluation reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional skills and knowledge.
3. Provide input in setting the Department’s annual budget, in accordance with the Function’s strategic goals and objectives.
4. Detect needed and additional skills or individuals in order meet and exceed the set of objectives.
5. Create a productive and healthy work environment within the Department, and foster high attention to details and efficient knowledge transfer among employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or any other related field.
