The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Develop and implement Product Safety & Stewardship policies and programs to ensure adherence, consistency and compliance with product regulatory, product safety and customer requirements.
1. Monitor implementation of product regulatory and product stewardship guidelines, standards and programs.
2. Recommend improvements and solutions for specific product regulatory/ stewardship issues.
3. Administer Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Product Stewardship modules implementation.
4. Review and provide input with regard to new plant designs to ensure conformity of new facilities with product regulatory/stewardship guidelines and standards.
5. Identify and monitor relevant local legislation, regulations and emerging short and long-term trends important to Sadara.
6. Support the implementation of product regulatory/stewardship related to training programs for Manufacturing and Site Logistics Management and personnel to heighten product regulatory/stewardship awareness and responsibilities.
7. Execute in-depth product regulatory/stewardship reviews and assessments of Manufacturing and Site Logistics activities within Sadara, involving procedures and facilities to provide recommendations.
8. Interface with Parent Company’s Global Product organization to ensure coordination and adherence with regulatory requirements.
9. Provide support in product related emergency situations to mitigate the impact and accelerate the return to normal operations.
10. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in one of the fields of engineering or science.
• Excellent command of technical engineering in English. Arabic is not required but is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze complex human/mechanical systems and problems, and obtain acceptance of compliant design and operating procedures.
