The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
As a result of our drive to increase sales of continuous water and combustion analysers with strong support to our overseas sales organisation, replacement Product Line Sales Manager resource has been identified as necessary, and sanction is currently being sought for recruitment to such a position.

The incumbent will be responsible for achievement of the Analytical order target and development of sales & technical capability in the nominated focus countries in North America and Western Europe.

Based within the Stonehouse Export Sales Team the primary focus will be on UK Analytical Products but the individual will also play a team role in providing general support to colleagues for all UK Feeder Factory and PG Analytical products. The role-holder’s performance will be measured against order growth along with a balanced approach to profitable margin improvement for assigned countries and/or region.

• Responsible for the orders target within defined countries/regions for the primary product range/ranges
• Work with ‘A’ Focus LBUs to formulate and implement CWA Country Business Plans
• Develop focused activities to increase sales & technical capability of LBU sales engineers and product support; developing product knowledge, interest and ensure good sales “mind-share”
• Meet the agreed target number of in-country selling days to Focus Countries
• Provide monthly reports on projects within Target Countries and assist Local Business Units in project chasing and strategic account penetration
• Creating, scheduling and performing focused Sales Training Webinars
• To assist countries and regions in project chasing and strategic account penetration
• Co-ordinate bidding of cross-border projects, in liaison with Sales Manager
• Improving the take-up and use of Product Marcomms tools
• Help define country specific requirements/modifications for vertical product ranges
• To collect and update competitor information
• Market price determination and adjustment in co-ordination with Global Sales and Product Management
• To assist Sales Management in assessing LBU annual budget forecasts
• To assist in product launch training of Regional LBUs

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A Degree or similar technical qualification in Chemical technologies would be an advantage.

• Consultative and Influencing selling and presentation skills
• In-depth selling knowledge of vertical product range – Analytical
• In-depth selling knowledge of market processes, terminology, applications, value propositions and concepts for the vertical product range
• Experience of commercial and negotiating skills
• International travel experience and knowledge of country cultures and business practices
