The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• Volume & profit – Sells products/systems/ services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for LPCW, WMC, Furse – Earthing & Lightning protection.
• Customer Relations – Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs as well as competitors products and market intelligence. Identifies and develops sales opportunities. This will include travel to customers where appropriate.
• Sales Plans – Prepare strategies and sales plans, perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plan(s) in case of potential order shortfalls.
• Sales – Creates added value for the customer and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals. Communicates effectively details in accordance with offering and strategy (delivery, payment, terms & conditions etc).
• Marketing – Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
• New Opportunities – Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities and ensures know how and cross collaboration with the sales teams. Being aware of technology trends and developments that will impact on the market
• Administration – Manages administrative procedures in the sales processes and supports project management and business development activities when required as well as providing part number information in order to accurately maintain the integrity of the system
• Offer Preparation – Prepares offers in co-ordination with the quotations department and ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of proposals.
• Training – Provide standards & product training to LSU’s/LSO’s and customers (consultants, contractors, end users). This will include presenting CPD seminars.
• Project Database – Create and maintain a customer and project database.

• Link with Feeder Factories to overcome detailed technical and quality issues

• Working Closely with PMM on all aspects of the product group.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years Product Management and/or key account technical sales
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, both verbally and in written form
• Knowledge of standards, certifications & competition
• UK travel

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Internal or external sales experience preferred
• Ability to work in a multinational environment and in a matrix organisation
• Effective organisation skills including the ability to prioritise and plan
