The Company:
Our client is an International Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
This role is predominantly office based but there will be a requirement for occasional offshore / site visits and your knowledge shall be broad to support Operational and Maintenance issues of our assets alongside HSE, Integrity & Inspection Support and Chemical Application and Specialisation..
Key responsibilities include
• Identify and manage key production chemistry risks for Integrity Management and Flow Assurance
o Manage chemical dosing strategies to mitigate Integrity / Production risks
o Interpretation of analytical and process data to drive improvement initiatives

• Develop and maintain Production Chemistry key performance indicators (KPIs)
o Daily review of chemical injection reports from Operational sites
o Preparation of monthly Chemical & Corrosion Control reports
o Own & manage chemical sampling, dispatch for analysis and interpret results
o Implement corrective actions from sampling results
o Chemical reorder scheduling, sourcing and supply chain management

• Carry-out chemical selection exercises to mitigate identified Production Chemistry risks
o Tracking of critical and routine treatment performance criteria

• Support technical risk assessments, peer reviews, HAZOPS and regulatory visits / inspections

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree Qualified Chemist
• Experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry
• Experience in Laboratory Management would be desirable
