The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company.

The Role:
Purpose:
To provide CRO and PTW Competency assurance and training to the Production department that is effective and suitable to support business activities and company objectives.
- Develop PTW training programmes to address project workforce competence requirements.
- Develop CRO training programmes to address project workforce competence requirements.
- Implement training programmes to address closing of identified gaps.
- Maintain trainee records
- Liaise with Line Supervision to identify development plans for the workforce
- Liaise with the Line to identify improvements and defects in asset equipment
- Input in to the Integrated Activity Plan
- Ensure the equipment and systems for which you have responsibility are fit for purpose and instigate corrective action as required.
- Submit required reports in a timely manner.
- Perform Emergency Response tasks as required.
- Work within operations budget

Accountabilities:
- Adhere to and promote the safety and environmental procedures to ensure own safety, safety of personnel, of process plant and the environment.
- Conduct Toolbox talks with work crews with emphasis on hazard assessment and mitigation requirements.
- Report or communicate any abnormal condition or potential equipment failure that could cause unsafe operation or affect export product quality or quantity and take effective action as directed by the Shift Engineer.
- Conduct on the job training and mentoring of local national discipline staff in the safe and efficient operation of project production assets
- Maintain a flexible and positive attitude (especially with regard to the difficult working environment and highly focussed safety and security procedures)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred IOSH Diploma plus 5 years in training development and delivery experience in oil and gas of which 5 years must be as a trainer
- Mentoring/coaching experience
- Recognised assessor qualification (D31/32 or A1) preferred
- Minimum 5 years CRO experience
