The Role:
- Provide comprehensive Production Engineering expertise to the Field Development Team(s) undertaking field development studies, development plan revisions, implementation of field life extensions and optimal exploitation of hydrocarbons. Develop, improve and maintain disciplinary technical standards in all applications related to Production Technology. He/She also provides technical and operational supports for Field
- Re-Development Studies, Well Completion/Recompletions, Workovers, Stimulations, Well Interventions, and Artificial Lift Systems
- Participate in the preparation of development plans, technical feasibility and optimization studies to ensure project value is maximized
- Establish engineering standards and processes for oil well pumping, gas lift technology and well interventions Investigates the implementation of new mechanical or process technologies Supports application and quality of Artificial Lift Technologies including proposals for improvements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in petroleum engineering or any other related discipline
- Minimum 3-8 years of experience in oil & gas industry of which more than 3 years in Petroleum Engineering/Production Technology and oil/gas field operations experience
- Experience and knowledge of Best Practices in artificial lift, well intervention and production of conventional oil & gas and heavy oil
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and excellent communication skills
- Strong technical, coaching, team work and communication skills with an ability to work in a multi-discipline and/or multi-cultural environment
- Understanding of „value optimized“ Asset/Field Management („life cycle oriented productivity/cost management“)
- Understanding of planning, economics and controlling (Opex, Capex, investment decisions)
- Strong understanding of inflow and outflow performance relationship and Production Chemistry
- Proficient in the use of the industry standard production technology tools including OFM, PRO
