The Role:
Primary Objective:
The Facilities/Process Engineer is to be familiar with engineering and design requirements for facility projects, including client provided specifications and all applicable codes and standards. Requires knowledge of codes and standards associated with oil and gas production facilities and equipment installations.

Job Functions:
Ensure that facilities are designed and constructed per applicable codes and regulations,
Work with design/construction team in design, optimization, construction, planning and installation of well site production facilities.
Monitor existing operations for opportunities to optimize and improve.
Conduct field investigations.
Review engineering work scope and design documents to ensure they are properly defined and completed to support procurement packages, fabrication, and installation.
Design above ground capital improvement projects.
Participates in project planning effort with Engineering, Project Management, and Construction.
Develop technical/price proposals.
Liaise with regulatory agencies.
Perform sizing calculations for process equipment, process lines.
Perform troubleshooting of existing facilities to optimize production
Perform engineering studies
Develop process flow diagrams
Develop P&IDs
Develop equipment list and equipment arrangements
Develop engineering reports and associated spreadsheets
Develop or alter standard project specifications to meet specific project requirements.
Prepare project specifications and process equipment specifications, data sheets and bid documents.
Reviews data sheets for instruments and specialty items.
Participates as an active member of the project management effort providing input to short and long term strategies, budgets, key objectives, metrics and plans for organizational development.
Develop cost and scheduling data for the Companies capital budgeting process as well as for Engineering and Construction departments.
Provides input for the evaluation and selection of engineering and construction contractors that meet Company safety and financial requirements.
Establish and update standard operating procedures for construction and operation of well site production facilities.
Supervise construction well site production facilities
Contract owner for vendor service quality, cost control and HSSE performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering or science). Experience is specific to production or oil/gas engineering. Minimum of 5 to10 years of production engineering experience. Professional Engineer or PMP certification may be required.

Competencies:
High degree of integrity and business ethics. Thorough knowledge of midstream oil and gas engineering and safety obligations. Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict deadlines. Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently. High degree of initiative and independent judgment. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Able to work effectively with cross functional groups in solving business problems. Computer skills; spreadsheet and project management software capabilities.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Requires occasional travel to field locations, meetings and training seminars. May require availability for extended hours during peak periods.
