The Company:
Our client is an established MNC with regional headquarters in Singapore operating on various business units for the offshore and manufacturing industry

The Role:
The jobholder is responsible for all managing all aspects of resource allocation, test planning and test execution for scheduled factory acceptance test (FAT). The FAT Manager will be responsible for working with the Product Owners, Project, design & QA/QC personnel in charge to ensure testing is performed according to established test procedure within the required project delivery timelines.

The FAT Manager is tasked with the overall responsibility for the FAT success. The role involves ensuring solution quality and test advocacy, FAT resource planning and management, and ensuring that safe work protocol are being adhered to at all times.


- Plan, manage and control entire production FAT section, FAT schedule and process conformance and safe work executions;
- Ensure that all FAT reports, punch list issued are thoroughly closed and documented for every project;
- Support, execute & ensure 100% conformance to EHS policies and permit to work system;
- Prepare and provide actual production FAT status progress updates for twice-a-week production meetings;
- Prepare non-conformity reports and investigate root cause of FAT & Equipment quality issues, and recommend corrections, corrective actions and preventive actions;
- Responsible for all timely & successful completion of scheduled FAT projects;
- Work towards achieving departmental KPI, goals and objectives;
- Raise early alarm & execute proactive recovery actions on potential FAT slippages.
- Ensure that FAT equipment, parts & tools are properly maintained and certified at all times. Responsible for entire FAT yard’s 5S.
- Liaise & work closely with project, QA/QC & engineering department for all FAT related requirements & issues.
- Support project representatives in managing clients & class surveyors during FAT execution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or related engineering.
- Min. 5 ~ 8 years of production management experiences in a marine/Offshore deck equipment manufacturing & testing environment. Candidates with lesser educational qualification but with in-depth hydraulic testing knowledge with at least 10 years of application experience will be considered equally.
- Highly motivated, responsible and proactive with the ability to work independently;
- Able to work and perform under pressure with tight schedules;
- Excellent hydraulic & equipment FAT knowledge & experience will be advantageous;
- Ability to analyse problems and have excellent problem solving skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English
