The Role:
This is a position within our clients E&P department involves playing the key role of the safe management of production as it relates to the asset choke model, loss management, risks and opportunities for the Operate Assets.

This position will also assist the asset to be fully complaint with the Production Management Framework minimum standards.

Other accountabilities:
- Works with their assets using the asset choke model, ensuring, timely review, update and use within the production planning/forecasting process.
- Responsible for driving the Loss Management process within their Asset.
- Responsible for driving the opportunity and risk register (ODRM), review, update and use.
- Shared accountability for delivering on the production targets.
- Shared accountability for delivering on production opportunities.
- Shared accountability for delivering on asset plans as they relate to production.

The Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in either the operations or commercial aspects of upstream operations. An understanding of platform operations and the interactions of all functional teams in prioritising work would be an
- Prior knowledge of root cause analysis and incident investigations would be useful as would previous knowledge of the optimisation of a hydrocarbon value chain.
- An engineering or relevant science degree or equivalent.
- Must be able to identify and focus on the priorities which will maximise value for the asset whilst not impacting on safe operations.
- The individual should have good problem solving skills, be able to influence others and is seen as both a self-starter and self-motivated. They must be confident to positively challenge decisions and be able
to offer alternatives.
