The Role:
Working in a busy and dynamic Logistics team you will deliver supply chain activities with a specific focus on MRP/MPS on a multi-site basis, effectively and efficiently coordinating a high volume of parts & materials between suppliers, the client and OEM’s.

The role will be fast-paced and varied, and would suit a supply-chain/ logistics professional with 3+ years industry experience.

Responsibilities will encompass:
• Production of weekly reports incorporating customer schedules and MRP/MRS, ensuring adherence to the automotive purchasing strategy
• Liaison with & management of suppliers
• Prioritisation of deliveries
• Ensure customers are informed of current delivery status & issue resolution
• Issue production orders to Shop floor in line with customer demand, ensure all materials are issued and production orders are completed and closed in a timely manner
• Attend internal daily Production Reviews supporting all the operational functions to ensure efficient manufacture of requirements
• Organisation of transport & delivery requirements where required for the automotive business, working with our transport suppliers to optimise vehicles & drive cost reduction
• Maintain all BOM’s & audit production against these BOM’s
• Ensure accurate raw material stores transactions & booking in procedures are adhered to
• Ensure achievement of "on time in full” (OTIF) delivery Performance to customer bas
• Identify forward capacity and resource requirements to meet customer demands & resolve with line manager
• Attend regular reviews at our customers & suppliers to ensure we are adopting a pro-active partnership with our customer & supplier base
• Support the Commercial dept. by maintaining the master price list, set up all item data & routings, set up all sales & purchase contracts
• Responsible for Contract Reviews, by date & contract quantity

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Working Knowledge of MRP / MPS
• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet & Microsoft Word
• Ability to work within a flexible team based environment across multi site locations
• Ability to prioritise workloads, meeting individual and team deadlines
