The Company:
Large international E&P company.

The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Production Superintendent for our Kenedy location as part of our Eagle Ford shale resource play.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safety, environmental and production leadership of selected assets within our Eagle Ford operations. With the recently announced acquisition of additional acreage in the play, to expand Company’s net leasehold position to 285,000, the team has aggressive plans to manage 20+ rigs and the multitude of wells required to develop the field. This position will report to the Operations Manager for the Eagle Ford Asset Team and will be located in Kenedy, Texas.

Involves the supervision and direction of a team of company employees, including Production Supervisors, field Lease Operators and Technicians and other Administrative personnel.
Directs contract and company personnel in capital project implementation, electrical and SCADA system management, and preventative maintenance activities. This position must assume a leadership role in driving improved safety and operational performance in both company and contract personnel.
Promote and support a culture where safety and environmental compliance is a top priority. Initiate actions that will enhance the operation's safety and environmental performance.
Work closely with the Operations Team, including other Eagle Ford area Production Superintendents to maximize the value and efficiency of our ongoing operations.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement area management techniques and strategies from both a field development and operational standpoint.
Reviews production and expense data for their area of responsibility, and directs the efforts of the team to optimize performance.
Develops team into a cohesive and efficient operating group through coaching and mentoring.
Ensures that Company production and facility operations in the assigned area are conducted in accordance with operating agreements, surface use agreements, government regulations and conservation practices.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree: Not required
10+ years of oil and gas operations experience, with at least 5 years in a production and/or work-over supervisory position.
Computer Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Products.
Demonstrated commitment to safety & environmental excellence.
Ability to identify problems, generate novel ideas, and implement solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork, and planning & organization skills.
Self-starting and motivated to learn.
Degree: Not required
10+ years of oil and gas operations experience, with at least 5 years in a production and/or work-over supervisory position.
