The Role:
- Provide operations technical support and troubleshoot problems in the Production assets & facilities
- Provide & maintain Production Operations Standards & Procedures
- Provide Operational input to ensure Technical Integrity is managed within Production in compliance with minimum standards.
- Improve/maintain process & equipment reliability to maximize up-time .
- Prepare operations procedures and work instructions for the Asset
- Coach/train Iraqi Nationals in the section.

Provide effective technical support and trouble shooting capability to the Production Assets for process, operations integrity (License to Operate) and operations safety issues. Assist in maximizing up-time, improving reliability and effective control of the cost of production operations in line with meeting corporate targets maintaining world-class performance standards during the life cycle of the project. Participate in Reliability Teams to address shortfalls in process, equipment failure and where standards or targets are not realised.

Provide Operations input into all phases of the project to ensure the facilities are fit for purpose operable, maintainable and fully meet Operations and Maintenance Technical Integrity and safety requirements.

Provide assurance that the production facilities in the Production Assets can be operated to meet the project objectives. Maintain a primary focus on Change Control in compliance with Corporate HSE Standards, DEP's and Industrial Standards. Propose plant changes and optimization when required.

Principle accountabilities of the Production Supervisor are:
- Supervision of the shift teams
- Finalise completion of Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning procedures and verification of against installed equipment configuration.
- Supervise system Commissioning activities and Start Up of the Utility area.
- Nitrogen/Helium leak testing of the Hydrocarbon systems and inerting.
- Supervise the hydrocarbon Start Up activities and operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner for the First Commercial Production (FCP) Trial.
- Safe and efficient daily operation of all the process facilities, safety systems and utilities to ensure production of hydrocarbons in accordance with production plans to achieve FCP.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Technical qualification
- Seasoned (+10 years) with a background in either of production / maintenance operations. Commissioning experience would be an advantage, with demonstrable experience in the areas of interest for the job.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, with a proven track record.
- Good communication and analytical skills are essential
- A HSSE driven mindset

- Exposure to onshore operations and/or project experience will be an advantage. In addition, experience in working in harsh geographical and /or technical environments (e.g. temperature extremes, high pressure reservoirs) would be beneficial.
- Having previous experience working in a high concentration H2S environment would also be very desirable.
- Commissioning experience on a large scale EP FEED would be an advantage.
