The Company:
Our client is an international operating company.

The Role:
Our client is currently seeking 2 Production Supervisors to work back to back in Chad. The position is field based but with the requirement to travel to N’Djamena occasionally. These positions are urgent and candidates will be needed in country ASAP.

The successful candidate will be confident in working independently with minimal supervision and have the ability to stand in for the Production Superintendent when needed. Experience in report writing and delivery is required, as is experience with Emergency Response situations.

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the safe and effective management of production operations deliverables at the company’s field production facilities in Chad, Africa, including all well site facilities, gathering systems, regional satellite facilities, centralized processing facilities and LACT custody transfer facilities.

The position takes responsibility for first line emergency response, control and management within the battery limits of the field production facilities; including well sites, gathering systems, manifolds, satellites, CPF, EPF, SPT and LACT Custody transfer facilities.

In addition; the role will include the requirement to interface with internal company business facilities and related project teams; (well intervention/ work-over, facilities PSM/ OPI de-bottlenecking and optimization, facilities expansion, work study and development).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in multi discipline multi-national production operations management on onshore upstream hydrocarbon oil & gas processing plant and facilities in a remote environment.
Experienced and trained in managing Emergency Response Teams in the role of On scene Supervisor or Fire Team Leader.
Experience in working in an E&P environment including drilling, completions and well work over.
Ability to communicate relevant comprehensive reports to line management.
Experience in the development and training of multi-national workforce in both operations and project based scenarios.
Proven ability to Coach and mentor production operations personnel.
