The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Reports to : Production Support Manager
Liaises with : Production Support Department, Discipline Team Leaders, Senior Supervisors.

Function:
The Production Support Co-ordinator provides best practise build methods and coordinates the construction work packages to the Senior Supervisors.

Responsibilities:
• To ensure adherence to Company Policy and procedures
• Quality, safety, health and environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
• To perform tasks which may be requested by Management, from time to time.
• Breakdown of initial work pack's from engineering drawings and advising on most suitable build method considering all construction requirements.
• To review changes and the impact on production and associated man-hour content.
• Co-ordinating the construction work packages through the discipline team and the Senior
• Supervisors
• Identify work packs ready for the Production Department and issue to Senior Supervisors
• Control of work pack issues; material issues and interfaces with sub-contractors. Review and agreeing a detailed 2 week level4 look-ahead programme.
• Review 4 week level 4 look-ahead programme and discuss up and coming scope of works.
• Identify potential material shortages; changes to scope I build method.
• Interface with the Drawing Office to produce fabrication drawings as per the current build method.
• Assist in review of new working methods and champion continuous improvement of existing shop floor construction methods, systems and procedures.
• To monitor expended hours against allocated through work pack system.
• To perform tasks delegated by the Production Manager/Production Support Manager.
• To ensure correct implementation of the Company quality, safety, health and environmental policy within the Company and verify that the Company quality, safety, health and environmental procedures are followed.
• To perform Safety Intervention Discussions (SID's).
• Individual risk awareness within job role.
• Identify and highlight any further training requirements of their personnel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Competency Requirements:
• Successful SHE Induction
• HNC/BTEC or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position within an offshore/construction environment.
• An understanding of Company, Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental systems & programmes.
• Good communication skills within a team environment.
• Planning and organisational skills that enable the implementation of the Company strategy.
• Must be computer literate.
