The Role:
The job holder is responsible for:

• Assist in the development and/or modify strategies for the final commissioning , start up and operations for the both Offshore and Onshore facilities such as: Oil treatment Units, Gas Treatment Units, Sulphur Recovery Units, LPG, Oil/Gas Separation, Gas Dehydration, Pipelines operations.
• Collaborate with discipline engineers, process engineers, process control engineers, reservoir engineering, and Operations in order to optimize start up and production operations for the both Onshore and Offshore Facilities
• Provide technical input to the preparation of the initial commissioning, start-up and operating procedures including preservation and training requirements.
• Review the engineering design to identify any changes necessary to minimize the impact on the commissioning, start-up and operations.
• Contribute to the development of the Integrated Commissioning and Start-up Logic and Plans.
• Contribute to the development of test protocols for commissioning and required procedures for execution of the same.
• Supporting the operation of the plant facilities in complying with safety and operating procedures and within assigned process parameters.
• Working in conjunction with the Plant CCR Supervisor and Unit Supervisor to agree the necessary maintenance activities and assign priorities according to the criticality of the work.
• Identifying of process deviations, developing of corrective actions together with Process Engineering, Site Operations Teams ,Equipment Reliability Group, Maintenance Department.
• Updating operating manuals and documentation in relation to environmental monitoring requirements
• Co-ordinating closely with both Onshore and Offshore the common operations related to trunk-lines during normal and non-routine activities
• Develop and deliver training programs for CSU and Operations staff on key operations elements.
• Develop project proposals, identifying the technical scope, cost and schedule of project work
• Instigate, perform and deliver Production Technology studies and projects
• Demonstrate through actions a positive commitment to safety meetings and a proactive approach to safety related matters
• Provide production optimization recommendations for offshore facilities and for Oil, Gas and Sulphur production systems.
• Work together with field operations, production engineers, reservoir engineers, and other technical personnel to maximize economic production, as well as assist in the development and execution of field development/depletion plans.
• Utilize analytical skills with engineering process knowledge to maximize reserve and resource recovery.
• Identify and implement new technologies for enhanced production and recovery.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or Higher Technical Qualification
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Minimum +5 years of Oil and Gas industry
• Experience in HPHT well operations/production preferable
• Track record as a senior position within Operations organisation during start up of similar sour Hydrocarbons treatment Plants
