The Company:
Our Client is a Major Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
The job holder will be responsible for production technology (PT) support during the Create through to Execute phases supporting assets across the Group world-wide.

The job holder will provide front-line support, including PT studies to deliver projects, calling upon technical experts within the PT team as required.

The job holder will be responsible for the quality of PT work carried out in the asset and will be expected to proactively engage with the asset, and through coaching develop the production technology capabilities across the Group.

• Proactively maintain and develop close working relationships with the asset teams across the Group.
• Verify the quality of Front End technical PT work executed within the asset.
• Use expertise to design and ensure delivery of effective Production Technology practices.
• Provide technical support and coaching to other personnel working within the Production Technology discipline.
• Support other Locations Acquisition & Divestment area teams as required.
• Carry out studies for Assets in the assess and select project phases (e.g. Sand management, completion design, inflow and vertical flow performance, stimulation techniques, field development planning, integrated asset modelling).
• Work must be sufficiently robust to be presented at BG internal functional and Readiness Reviews and JV partner meetings.
• Be a a proactive member of the global BG Production Technology community, to highlight areas where specialist technical support and development work can be effectively deployed to improve asset operations.
• Support the Head of Production Technology in developing capacities and capabilities throughout the Group as well as the development and deployment of PT technologies in conjunction with the PT Technology Manager based in the Global Technology Centre in Brazil.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A science degree and experience of a broad range of Production Technology areas.
• Demonstrated capability of taking forward concepts into field developments.
• Demonstrated good interaction with other subsurface disciplines and be able to promote integrated working practices.
• Expert working knowledge of Production technology practices (PVT, inflow-vertical flow performance, sand management, completion design, stimulation and integrated modelling).
• Be an excellent communicator, both written and oral with the ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with internal peers, partners and 3rd parties to influence decisions or ways of working.
• Be a strong Leader and be able to plan and co-ordinate support from technical experts globally.
• Be a self starter with good decision-making skills able to plan and organise workload effectively and a proven ability to work under pressure without sacrificing quality.
