The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of 2 Production Technologists in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
Production Technologist in a multi-disciplinary team to provide production technology solutions to projects. Production technology aspects of this job include, but are not limited to, the following areas: inflow-outflow, sand control, water injection, well and reservoir management, completion design, artificial lift. A seasoned professional who can make discipline-specific recommendations based on limited or incomplete data is needed. The ability to identify, assess and mitigate subsurface risks and select fit-for-purpose technologies based on broad production technology experience is key to success in this job.

The Production Technologist will during the assignment be involved in multiple EOR. These range in scale and dimensions from Deepwater opportunities with few but expensive wells to onshore mature fields thousands of wells. Project dimensions are typically in excess of a billion dollars. The candidate can be expected to be exposed to a range of Thermal, Chemical and Miscible Gas (including CCS projects) projects during their assignment.

Work at a high level of technical competence, often under time pressure. Be an excellent team player. Appreciate the contributions made by other disciplines and maintain an overview of the customer's business needs. Build and maintain good working relationship with stakeholders. Exhibit cross-discipline competence. Ability to identify and propose PT solutions given limited or incomplete data. Motivate and coach less experienced staff.

Projects currently being progressed include Peace River Assets in Canada, Aera JV in California, Deepwater assets in West Africa and Gulf of Mexico, CO2 storage solutions in North America.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and/or 5-10 years of experience in applying the discipline skill to oil and gas projects. Familiar with a variety of the discipline's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks with minimal day to day supervision. Has begun to demonstrate some breadth in applying skills to different project phases and / or acquiring experience in other related disciplines. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to a supervisor or manager.

Experience and Qualifications required 1. Broad Production Technology experience and knowledge of the full range of G&G/PP/RE/PT/CE/WE & Prod Opns activities across the ORP Phases from development and well planning through Execution and to Operate Phase. 2.
