The Role:
Responsibilities

1.Well and Reservoir Management

a)Work closely with Well Integrity Focal Point, Production and Well Operations to remediate well integrity failures, eg. Xmas tree valves.
b)Work closely on a day-to-day basis with Production Programming and Operations to maximise production and recovery from project before field CoP.
c)Identify and propose well remedial activities to reinstate integrity or boost production, and thereafter to monitor and support their implementation.
d)Liaise with Well Services and Well Engineering to plan and execute well interventions.
e)Attend regular meetings to update production forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.

2.Abandonment Support

a)Prepare Well Functional Specifications for wells to be abandoned.
b)Review Well Abandonment programmes.
c)Provide day-to-day support to Well Abandonment Operations.
d)Provide input to ongoing studies related to abandonment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced Production Technologist or Production Engineer with demonstrated technical competencies and broad background in WRM and well operations. Safety awareness is paramount, especially when proposing and planning well activities. The successful candidate should have the experience and skills to fill either a WRM or Abandonment Support role. Note, however, that whilst desirable, specific experience in Abandonment is not essential. The position requires good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in various integrated teams on a range of issues.
