The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
About the role
The purpose of the position is to monitor and manage the day to day reservoir management of one or more of Europe EP fields. The role will ensure that field daily operations are in accordance with the Field Development and Reservoir Management Plans in order to maximize both daily production and ultimate field recovery.

The PT will be the well choke owner and ensure well potential is understood, and managed and be responsible for optimizing well production and own and mitigate well losses.

Key accountabilities
• Daily Well Surveillance.
• Monitoring daily field production and awareness of production issues.
o Participation / Chair of daily optimisation call with offshore
• Production well testing.
• As choke owner sets well MPP.
• Well allocation.
• Owner of asset production optimisation. IAM.
o Building and maintaining integrated asset models for production optimisation.
o Liaising with Reservoir and Process engineer to ensure reservoir and process components of optimisation IAM are accurate and complete.
• Preparation and issue of Reservoir Operating Notices
• Preparation for and participation in well review meetings.
• Risk and Opportunity identification, for production optimisation.
• Liaising with well engineering and subsurface on identifying and progressing optimal well intervention.
• Maintains asset LIP / opportunity register.
• Provides well input to production forecasting process
• Sand monitoring / integrity reporting.
• Providing well input to partner meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a qualified petroleum engineer with a BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer or equivalent. ( advantageous)

He/she will have had experience working within a multi-disciplinary team on an operated field or will have relevant well site field operations experience.

The following skills are required for the role:
• Understanding of the reservoir, petroleum engineering and operational issues from sand face to export.
• Knowledge of production monitoring and allocation techniques.
• Ability to take part in planning and executing well intervention and data gathering programmes, including analysis of data collected.
• Familiarity with artificial lift, sand control, flow assurance and production chemistry issues.

Prior knowledge of the following software packages would be an advantage:
• Nodal analysis (eg Prosper, GAP, MBAL, OLGA)
• Well test analysis (eg Saphir, PanSystem)
