The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Fircroft have been asked to source a Production Training Coordinator to design, implement and maintain tracking of a complete training program for the LNG plant facilities.

The Production Training Coordinator will design a program suitable for taking entry level staff and providing them with strong knowledge of technical requirements, vendor, site-specific, HSSE and other training. You will ensure this is all documented on the Competency Assurance Management System (CAMS).

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of training programs to ensure there is a competent workforce. As a training coordinator you will provide input into the recruitment and selection of staff and develop competency models. In addition, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of staff during the training program. Training will be conducted at various centres nationally and internationally.

These training programs are at various stages of completion and must be continually tracked to ensure adequate training is conducted, to do this you must have adequate planning and scheduling experience required to lead the entire training needs.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise the development, design and approval of training modules and courses
• Determine and analyse training needs and gaps within the workforce
• Certify personnel at a level of competency
• Negotiate content with internal and external training providers
• Coordinate production and maintenance training activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive experience as a Training Coordinator within the hydrocarbon industry
• Significant experience leading production and maintenance training programs
• Knowledge gained from an operational background in LNG facilities

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• LNG project experience
