The Company:

The Role:
• Lead/Support Ford Checkpoint process, liaise with Vehicle Activities, (Including PTAE & Vehicle Engineering), & prepare Sign Off documents to support the Vehicle Gateway Process.
• Review & co-ordinate a response to PDLs/PILs/PLs & Timing Plans.
• Negotiate & follow up on Program Objectives (Attributes, cost, quality, weight, timing) with the individual activities.
• Lead/Support local change control process.
• Support planning & co-ordination of design, analysis, test, verification & release activities.
• Define requirements & schedule for build of engine prototype batches in cooperation with DV Engineer, Build co-ordinator & Vehicle T&D group.
• Create and maintain engine level project plan, (CLN) & perform critical path analysis to provide timing direction
• Arrange regular program reviews with all activities participating in the program.
• Co-ordinate assembly CPMTs & act as an interface between the Manufacturing Plant & the Engine Design Team.
• Support Ford engineering Quality processes; Generation of FMEAs, Robustness planning, Lessons learnt documents, organisation of Fresh Eyes reviews.
• Liaise with Ford/Customer Engineering Teams, Engine and Vehicle Manufacturing plants and Purchasing functional activities with input to the engine program delivery.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 years of post-graduate experience in an engineering discipline.
Knowledge and practice of project management

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
High degree of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility & good communication skills.
Ability to motivate co-workers in different functional areas to contribute to the success of the Program.
Knowledge of Ford tools such as CLNs, 8D's, DVPSOR, GPDS, PTRP/Integrator, WERS, AWS, GQRS, Change Control Process etc
