The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
The Client's Enterprise Program Office Director is responsible for developing “bottoms-up” program plans to meet schedules, budgets and deliverables that are critical to the client's strategic objectives; ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures, Stage Gate processes, and best practices, and provide consolidated reporting to the Management Committee (MC).

Functional Duties:

Provide Program Management capability for the Client's Enterprise programs, initiatives, efforts, and projects requiring coordinated alignment, development, planning, execution, and interface management across internal functional teams and/or external 3rd party teams. Key areas are, but not limited to:

1. Develops the Program Office structure and organization
2. Enterprise Program Interfaces / Interdependencies between Functions
3. Future Strategy and Business Line Level Planning
4. Program Master Schedule - Sadara Enterprise Integrated Schedule / Plan
a. Commissioning & Start Up
b. “Prepare to Operate”
c. First Product Readines

5. Transition Plan Development and Coordination
•Handover of Assets from Sadara Program to Enterprise

6. Consistently guides program teams to excellent results even when faced with resistance or setbacks.
7. Provides program governance while diving into the details, if needed, in order to keep programs on track.
8. Collaborates with Business Line leadership to develop annual roadmap.
9. Creates, optimizes, and drives plans using industry standard methodology.
10. Monitors and manages change, effectively adapts and modifies plans based on changing data or conditions, implements industry standard Management of Change system and processes.
11. Identifies issues that need action, leads the decision process and communicates results clearly and in actionable form.
12. Identifies trade-offs between short and long term, and balances the needs across all stakeholders.
13. Communicates and fosters Sadara Values
14. Operates independently and frequently interacts with senior management to help set strategic guidance for programs.
15. Aligns program teams with the business’ objectives and understands the inter-dependencies across cross-functional teams.
16. Frames communication and discussions for the intended audience, with appropriate context and line of sight.
17. Creates and delivers effective and persuasive presentations appropriate for Executive-level audiences when communicating.
18. Contributes to developing high performance teams by diagnosing, understanding and facilitating team dynamics.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Marketing or other related academic discipline.
• Extensive knowledge in strategic planning, capital management, finance, presentation and negotiations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Master degree in Engineering or Business is preferable.
