The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Experience managing multiple projects across a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to work to strict deadlines and to drive others to meet commitments and prioritise effectively. Understanding of PCS programme delivery process Highly motivated, confident and assertive with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels in the business; Business acumen, personal initiative and a passion to succeed, together with the influencing skills to manage the programme activities with a good level of independence; Effective cross-functional team working experience and preference; Professionally qualified, ideally to degree or HND level with a proven track record in a purchasing or programme environment, prior base engine experience or powertrain background is preferable. Adaptable to changing circumstances, with experience managing conflicting priorities; finds problem solving a rewarding experience; capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision to deliver key objectives Highly competent user of MS Office: Word, Powerpoint and particularly Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Macro, Knowledge of SAP, PACNs, WIPS and WERS is desirable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Purchasing or Business related, A Level/HNC

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Detail orientated and able to work to a high level of accuracy Strong organisational skills and able to manage their own time effectively Good written and oral communication skills Ability to present/explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders Able to use their own initiative and escalate issues appropriately Strong mind set for continuous process improvement

Automotive or related industry experience (production parts not indirect), commodity /category management experience

HNC/HND / First Degree
