The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Programme Lead for the Perceived Quality Cosmetic standards, materials and component approval attribute, management of the PQ attribute post PA for new and MY programmes. Develop and manage the direct source materials for colour and the material performance against the required specification approvals which includes liaison with a cross functional team to include the Supplier base, Purchasing, Design, Company Quality, Material Engineering and Plant. To manage the integration and maturation of components to support the appearance approval and vehicle harmony

Skills Required: Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of technical issues (and associated business cases) within a team environment with the ability to interface directly to the Design teams, component areas, manufacturing, company quality, new model programs, and represent the Perceived Quality Department Strong analytical skills, with high creativity levels and a good understanding of modern and future technologies Experience of program or project management, meeting demanding timescales, cost effective delivery essential.

Experience Required: Applicants need to be qualified to degree level, Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project History of working or leading projects will be a distinct advantage Ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, forward looking, lateral thinker with proven creative experience, Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision

Experience Preferred: Knowledge of the following : Appearance Approval Process, PPAP, 8D

Additional Information : The role will require regular inter-site travel therefore, it is expected that candidates will hold a valid UK Drivers licence.
