The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves on conducting operations in accordance with world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Review invoices for accuracy and conformance to Kazakh statutory documentation requirements and contract terms.
Work with FEED contractor finance personnel to establish effective invoicing of actual spend and administration of neutral funding arrangements.
Assist and advise project controls team to monitor expenditure vs budget/AFE for project team owner costs.
Ensure project spend is accounted for and consistant with accounting procedures under Company foundation agreements and accounting guidance. Identify any inconsistencies or anomalies and communicate to project and Company finance management for guidance.
Review national or secondee payroll charges for accuracy and reconcile to org charts, request clarification of unusual or non-recurring and redirect as appropriate.
Ensure conformance of asset capitalisation strategy with accounting records and AFE structure, track and record project and department capital expenditures and forecast depreciation expenses.
Provide financial information for auditing purposes
Develope annual affiliate work order plan, monitor performance against plan through effective administration/monitoring of affiliate work order (AWO) spend.
Monitor and track activities requiring compliance reporting.
Monitoring and reconciliation of neutral funding advances to EPCM contractor against invoices for actual spend.
Assist project controls cost analysis in preparation of VOWD owner cost estimates and developing accruals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, along with experience in a similar role within an oil and gas project environment.
Experience working for the owners' team will be a distinct advantage.
