The Role:
Project Accountant required to cover a 6 month Contract based in Perth CBD - Must be available Immediately

The Project Accountant will be responsible for the review, reporting and analysis of financial performance of projects. The role facilitates the delivery of the month end processes and associated project reporting, and actively supports the achievement of project financial targets through analysis and recommendations for profitability.


- To maintain good relationships and liaise with internal departments to ensure information is being effectively exchanged and processed.
- You will have the ability to interpret and apply relevant accounting standards, corporate directives and contractual commercial terms.
- To be pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail.
- Effectively manage changes to work tasks and the work environment, and assists others with adapting to change.
- Able to identify opportunities and risks; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to achieving the OneWay Vision and its associated requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

- Must be available to start immediately
- A recognised degree or equivalent qualification within Accounting, CPA or CA qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in project accounting within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Use of the ERP accounting packages such as Oracle, Hyperion, SAP or JD Edwards or similar system.
- Approximately have 2-3 years experience after post graduate to have exposure to accounting in a commercial environment.
