The Company:
A leading power and automation company who are deeply involved in large oil and gas projects here in Queensland are seeking a Project Administrator local to the area to adopt and maintain the site Contracts Administration procedure and processes.

The Role:
You will be based on the construction site of the gas plant were you will assist the Project Manager and the site team ensuring you execute the contract management role in accordance with the company’s procedures. You will be required to establish and maintain good working relationships with the other site team members, Sub Contractors and the Client

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensure the project activities are recorded, executed correctly and are up to date.
Support the site team in permit to work application procedures
Review incoming and outgoing communications, instructions, transmissions between the site team, sub contractors and the client to ensure contractual correctness and avoidance and/or identification of potential contractual and/or commercial problems.
Attend weekly progress meetings, and ensure that the minutes reflect an unbiased record of the discussions and issues addressed.
Ensure accurate and comprehensive project records and reports are produced and maintained for site instructions, contract change requests and contracts changes
Assist in review and evaluation of client change order requests and formulation of Contract Changes for issue by Company.
Assist preparation of the contract contractual and commercial close out report

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Previous contract administration experience in oil and gas industry within a contracting or client organisation
Extensive Microsoft word and excel skills
Experience of a construction site working environment.
