The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest of several Australian coalbed methane companies developing methane reserves within Queensland.

The Role:
Our Client has a current requirement for a Project Administrator to perform a role on a 19 on 9 day off rotation to Chinchilla. The contract will be for a 12 month duration. The successful candidate will report to the Project/Construction Managers – Gathering & WSF.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of Authorisation to Work documents including tracking delays post issue of Authorisation to Work documents, closing out holds or issues with infrastructure builds on Authorisation to work documents, update any land access requests, update the land access data including ongoing refreshment of land access requirements due to expiry or construction requirements, Close out of land access to relevant blocks as required, Site interface between land access negotiators and field team, arranging pre-construction kick off meetings, issue of approvals documentation.
• Responsible for preconstruction permits and approvals – draft approvals and manage approval process including: RCN/Community Notifications, Custody Transfers - Land transfer between OP’s, Projects and construction contractor, Execution Readiness Checklist (ERCs) & Responsible for closing Construction Zone Assessments – opening and close out
• Responsible for the liaison between pipe testing team and the Land & Community Group for landholder issues relating to testing periods thus also including the following: Obtain road closure permits, Complete permit applications, Draft communications plans, Notify relevant external stakeholders, Manage approval process, SCO4 development and notifications, Crossings group interface between Gathering and all 3rd parties including emergency services & Input into completions register.
• Interface between construction team and permits/approvers in Brisbane, interface relationships with external utilities, Facilitate company/contractor inspections and follow up of repairs / re-inspections to commence warranty period.
• Compliance based activities include: Maintain compliance register for all gathering works to ensure all permits and approvals are in place including land access approvals, Integral member of MPC Front end planning team as the QGC representative – instrumental in gaining approvals in line with the schedule and getting work started & land access/weed & seed audits of contractors.
• Provide general administrative support to the Gathering & WSF team including: Coordinate travel and itinerary arrangements, Preparing Purchase Requisitions and conveying Purchase Orders to vendors, Assist in preparing spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, Maintain electronic filing systems, Facilitate the SAP requisition and vendor set-up process for the team, Formatting of large technical documents, Manage calendars, coordinate and organise meetings/workshops and set-up meeting rooms etc.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate;

• Experience of an understanding of permit and approval systems
• An understanding of ATW (Authorisation to Work)
• Experience in an administrative role within a busy corporate environment
• Experience in formatting large documents or desktop publishing desirable
• Experience in taking responsibility for tasks and managing it to completion
