The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Provide accurate and realistic cost estimates to evaluate identified Business Opportunities and to drive successful project deployment.
1. Provide early stage cost estimates to evaluate identified Business Opportunities.
2. Provide the Project Steering Team accurate and realistic cost estimates at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
3. Collect and analyse historical data and documentation with appropriate installation and site specific factors, and owner experience to formulate Stage 1, 2 & 3 project cost estimates.
4. Determine costing of equipment, materials, construction labour, taxes, and other related expenses necessary for project execution.
5. Oversee the monitoring, integration and implementation of the cost estimating discipline work processes and measurements to drive successful project deployment.
6. Keep management informed of relevant data as the project develop to ensure cost estimates are on track.
7. Collaborate with Project manager and other key project leaders to agree on scope & timing of “cost estimate inputs” to deliver timely and accurate project cost estimates.
8.Coordinate with Project Team members to understand the scope and parameters of the project in order to provide accurate and reasonable cost estimates at varying stages of the project.
9. Complete comparative cost estimate analysis as required to help evaluate alternative studies or selection analysis, including evaluation of cost savings opportunities.
10. Provide cost estimating data as requested to relevant benchmarking organizations, to evaluate capital efficiency.
11. Stay up-to-date with relevant economic forecasts and trends on materials and labour rates that may impact project capital and plant costs.
12. Actively participate in cost estimate work process enhancement activities. Evaluate estimating accuracy relative to actual installed cost.
13.Comply with EH&S guidelines and processes.
14. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering discipline– Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Practical knowledge of engineering, procurement, accounting, and construction practices
