The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Role is within the Purchasing Project Management Office (PMO) for a very large project. The PMO team is responsible for ensuring all sourcing requirements are delivered on time to budget , current status is reported and project governance is adhered to.

Role is Key administrator to manage the Purchasing elements of the manual purchase order approval system that approves all project spend .Will need to ensure that data and detail is correct within purchase order applications and co-ordinate effectively both internally and externally to ensure spend requests and purchase orders are processed on time. Ability to be confident to chase and drive through action is key. Will be required to run spend approval meetings - webex , face to face and conference calls and follow up with minutes and actions. Will be required to identify opportunities to continually improve systems and processes. Will be requirements to support the Purchasing PMO team with general project governance - project reporting and governance - risk, issue and assumptions logs and weekly dashboard reporting .May be some general administration - travel, expenses , meeting co-ordination and minutes and adhoc projects.

1)Highly organised and logical
2)Good communication skills
3)Attention to detail and accuracy

Experience Required: Strong administration and organisation skills-good knowledge of excel , word and PP. Experience working in project support or admin role where following system and process and improving process is key . Experience of working in a project environment and or Purchasing dept would be an advantage. Ability to work on own initiative and be a good problem solver is important . Great communication skills, comfortable working in face pace environment, learning quickly. Great attention to detail.
