The Company:
A major Operator is looking for a Poject Assistant

The Role:

Key accountabilities

* Undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth running of the office, including but not limited to coordination of invoice payments, manging post, ordering stationary, managing meeting rooms, processing expenses
* Ensuring the smooth and effective running of the team's diaries dealing with and rearranging meeting conflicts
* Coordinate and circulate business communications
* Arranging provision of access badges, IT equipment, phone-lines with the relevant departments
* Point of contact with IT provider to resolve any issues
* Coordinating office visitors
* Purchasing of minor office goods
* Organizing team events

Travel arrangements

* Coordinating national and international travel bookings for the team including but not limited to transport, accommodation and car hire, whilst being aware of time zone differences
* Arranging Letters of Invitation and managing visa issues


* Taking minutes of weekly team meetings and other ad hoc meetings (preferred)
* Assisting in the collection of document review comments from relevant engineering disciplines


* Covering Document Control activities during leave/absence
* Carrying out other tasks from time to time as may reasonably by requested by your line manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Project environment in the Oil & Gas industry. Based in Paris 13th arrondissment and reporting to the Project General Manager, the role will provide support and assistance to the Management Team of circa 12 people.
1 year with potential extension
Potential relocation to south of France

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Fully fluent in French and English
* Previous exposure to Document Control methodology
* Experience in a corporate environment, preferably Oil & Gas
* Hardworking professional who is highly organised and proactive
* Strong team spirit
Exceptional attention to detail with high standards and an ability to prioritise
Articulate, confident and able to work under pressure with strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Technical training and/or experience (preferred)
