The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
To execute assurance activities of the engineering design and supplier selection and management for the Projects.
Provide client overview of the engineering contractors involved in the design of the jackets, topsides and terminal facilities and provide QA input to the selection of suppliers and the ongoing management of supplier performance.

- Marine & Subsea and Pipelines Assurance Leads and Quality Engineers
- Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Team

Engineering Contractors - Quality Managers, Engineering Managers and Discipline Engineers

Suppliers - Quality Managers, Project Managers

• Monitor Contractor’s Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with requirements & objectives of Client Global Agreements and Project Contracts. Lead audits of Contractor activities where required to address high risk activities or to address contractor performance issues.
• Carry out audits within the Project Management Teams to ensure compliance with Client practices & procedures.
• Provide Assurance that all Client Major Project Common Process requirements are identified, planned and implemented within the procedures & processes implemented for the projects.
• Assist in the maintenance of Client Project Quality Plans & other appropriate Client Project quality documents.
• Lead audits of Suppliers and Sub-Suppliers to facilitate the supplier selection.
• Provide QA support to the Core Evaluation Team (CET) during the preparation of a bid package and the technical evaluation of the bids.
• Take part in package and system Criticality Assessments to identify required design verification activities and the level of QC / Inspection required.
• Provide QA support to the Purchase Order Management Team (POMT) through the review of supplier Quality documents and other key deliverables and the ongoing performance management of suppliers during the lifecycle of Purchase Orders.
• Work with Assurance Leads / Assurance Engineers from other Delivery teams to maintain the Audit & Corrective Action Register and monitor the status of Findings & Corrective Actions/Observations, driving them to closure.
• Coordinate the collection and reporting of KPI’s to the Project Leadership.
• Assist in the maintenance of the web-based Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that it is up-to-date.
• Actively participate in monthly Quality meetings with colleagues from other Delivery Teams and contractor quality leads to drive standardised activities and share learnings and good practices.
• Be willing to identify & raise any project quality concerns/observations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• ISO Lead Auditor
• Effective communication skills
• Professional attitude to act as the face of the company to contractors and suppliers.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Design Office experience
• Supplier management / auditing experience
• Previous experience of managing contractors while in a Client / Operator position.
