The Company:
My client is a UK leading Industrial Service supplier. With a wealth of knowledge in delivering solutions to key areas that really matter to there clients'. This has reflected in the growth and rise in stature of my client's business. With a estimated turnover of £120 million per year from £30 million per year where it was 5 years ago.

The Role:
Be responsible for co-ordination and project management for all project works. Project will be a combination of cap ex, refurbishment, maintenance and shutdown projects with a mechanical and piping bias:

o To provide leadership in safety and quality, coaching, and motivation to team members
o Ensure supervision are adequately briefed with regard to work schedule and activity sequence
o Provide technical support
o Complete pre-job site inspections
o Compile and authorise Job Technical Data sheets (JTD’s)
o Review discipline specific Risk Assessments & Method Statements including vendors
o Audit my-task reviews are being completed and approved by supervision
o Co-ordinate work activities in-line with current project schedule and provide weekly project update
o Provide weekly progress to planning department
o Supports Permit Applications and liaise with Area Authority to resolve issue’s which may result in cost/schedule impact
o Review executed work in line with relevant technical standards.
o Undertake DT/project inspection & complete full or partial handover including defect close out
o Review efficient utilisation of resources, both physical and human in-line with weekly project cost report
o Record Technical Queries and NCR’s through full lifecycle ensuring cost and schedule impact are assessed
o Ensure generation and approval of all CVI and SI variations prior to submission and record throughout the project lifecycle
o Raise discipline specific work orders to enable estimation and review estimates prior to collective submission to project manager
o Review all estimates prior to submission including project cost summary
o Review all submitted work pack/ estimates paying close attention to discipline interfaces
o Review all ITP’s and quality plans confirming all witness and hold points identified in the work pack are included
o Co-ordinate DT/client inspections and approve relevant certification including successful defect closeout
