The Role:
Position Details / Key Job Responsibilities:

• Implements, administers and maintains cost control system and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts for project.
• Assists in the preparation and review of cost estimates.
• Develops reporting tracking tools and generates cost reports on weekly/monthly basis including evaluation of earned value.
• Coordinates the Cost Engineering Change Management process for the project.
• Prepares project cash flow forecast.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining interfaces with key stakeholders of the projects, and provides accurate and timely reports.
• Produces cost reports detailing budgets, approved changes, commitments, and forecasts from available information and historical trend analysis.


Required Qualifications:
• BS preferred or
• Combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
• 5-10 years of experience as Project Cost Engineer / Cost Control Specialist in Oil & Gas Industry, preferably offshore.
• Experience with major capital projects as well as working with EPC contractors.
• Superior computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic documentation systems and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
