Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for a Project Controls Analyst based in Perth. The role is based on a 12 month contract and has a strong focus on cost engineering.

The position provides all necessary information to the Upstream reporting specialist to support owner’s costs reporting requirements and serve as central coordination point for ensuring all cost deliverables are submitted in a timely and accurate fashion to support project reporting requirements.
• Communicates with multiple execution teams to ensure cost data is maintained in a timely fashion in the cost data base
• Coordinates the import and export of data into / out of the cost system
• Coordinates with the Central business for reporting requirements

Perform team cost control function for the Upstream Project team including but not limited to: -
• Management & Reporting of all owner’s control budgets
• Forecasting remaining owner’s costs for the project
• Identification and processing of owner’s team trends
• Communicating to multiple budgets owner’s regarding the current cost status of their respective owner team’s costs

Perform team cost control function for the Upstream Project team including but not limited to:
• Management & Reporting of control budgets
• Forecasting remaining costs for the Platform scope of the project
• Supporting the identification and approval of trends
• Communicating to multiple budgets owner’s regarding the current cost status of their respective budgets
• Provides all necessary information to the Upstream reporting specialist to support owner’s costs reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with Contractor’s project controls team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of contractor’s project controls deliverables.
• Support Lead Project Controls advisor with all matters related to project controls.


This role will be based on a 9 day fortnight and 9 hour days.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Degree educated - BS preferred or equivalent experience BSc
Experience: 5+ years working on LNG projects
