The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
Main Job Description:
- Owner of the Lessons Learned process, responsible for coordinating all required meetings and leading the compilation of all Lessons Learned between all sub-projects in the project database/log
- Owner of the Issues Management process, responsible for coordinating all required meetings and leading the compilation of all Issues project database/log
- Preparation, compilation and analysis of weekly, monthly and close-out reports and presentations for the project
- Responsible for keeping all Cost and Reporting deliverables organized and available in the project SharePoint site and LAN folders
- Support in Organization Chart related activities, using appropriate tools, i.e. Visio
- Support on the Management of Change process for the projects
- Collect project Final Deliverables Documentation per Gate/Check Point in order to flawlessly handle the close-out stage of the project
- Assist in preparing and distributing accurate weekly, monthly, close-out reporting with impeccable execution
- Organizing meetings and supporting with admin tasks when required
- Provide other project support if required

Main Skills:
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Basic Project Controls knowledge
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Document Control, Information Management
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the SharePoint tool
• Interact with Senior Business Managers (coordinate workshops / to acquire approvals for multiple documentation)
• Ability to work collaboratively in an integrated team environment

Additional Info: MOC, LL, Issues Management procedures:

• MOC process: communicate MOC changes to the affected groups; ensure MOCs are properly routed and approved; consolidate the changes to the overall project costs and update the Current Control Budget and Forecast as per the Cost Stewardship Initiative guidelines; coordinate with all PT members the preparation of any required project close-out MOC documentation; train PT members on the process
• Lessons Learned process: organize lessons learned application and capture activities as outlined in the LL Plan; coordinate the compilation of all Lessons Learned between all sub-projects in SharePoint - project database/log; timely input and endorse approved lessons in the lessons learned eApplication to facilitate the vetting process; ensure that applicable lessons learned during execution are adequately evaluated and integrated into project plans; train PT members on the process
• Issues Management process: log and track Project Issues identification and resolution plans; report the results of the Issues Management process; coordinate all required meetings and leading the collection of all Issues
