The Role:
Position Summary
Assisting in project controls – primarily with cost and planning scope, with potential responsibility for coordinating risk & management of change process for the project.

Key Accountabilities
Accountable to Project Controls Manager for ensuring that project controls needs are being satisfied, including timely and accurate input of data, thorough and accurate review and analysis of defined cost and schedule elements, and timely and accurate document production:
• Assist in development and monitoring of the schedule for engineering, procurement, and construction activities as appropriate
• As appropriate: coordinate, calculate, develop, input or update budget information, changes, expenditure information, commitments and forecasts into the cost reporting system(s), and schedules
• Liaise and coordinate with Contractors for project controls data. Analyse, challenge and validate integrity of data
• Preparation of spreadsheets and a wide variety of routine cost analyses, cash flow, and other cost related evaluations
• Produce various project controls reports, including client reports
• Providing cost and schedule input to the monthly progress report
• Printing and distribution of technical and administrative reports, assembly of monthly report packages
• Other project controls duties as assigned

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attributes
• Proficient use of Project Control Systems – preferably hands on experience with Primavera P6, Pertmaster and MS Project.
• Capable of communicating with the project controls team to ensure complete understanding and fulfillment of project/program objectives
• Capable of effectively communicating with all levels of project, framework management and the client.
• Able to identify potential problems and elevate these to the appropriate levels(s) of management
• Good planning and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarisation with Project Controls procedures
• Have knowledge of the scope of work for the project
