The Company:
A major Oil & Gas Company

The Role:
Responsible for ensuring proper and effective project controls measures are executed by the EPC contractor and sub-contractors organization, with particular emphasis on schedule management, planning and progress monitoring.
Responsible for implementing and updating the Project Control Plan, as required.
Responsible for monitoring the EPC Contractors and the overall project cost and schedule performance.
Provides an interface between Offshore Project Manager, Offshore Business Manager, PMT members and EPC Contractor with respect to cost and schedule performance, reporting, review and approvals.
Establishes effective project cost, schedule and change control procedures.
Coordinates the collecting, consolidating, analysing and reporting of all Project cost and schedule, control, trend and progress measurement information to ensure overall project status is assessed and potential problem areas identified.
Reviews project changes to evaluate any schedule and/or cost impact; responsible for incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes in the overall cost and schedule stewardship and reporting.
Reviews the Contractor’s procedures for estimating, scheduling and project controls and modify as necessary to meet the Company’s and PMT’s needs
Provides data for accounting and auditing functions. Ensures EPC Contractor’s accounting systems meet company audit requirements.
Produces the cost estimates on the Project that may be requested by Company’s Senior Management.
Coordinates with Company’s Senior Insurance Advisor and the nominated Loss Adjustors on all insurance related matters on the Offshore Project.
Acts for the Business Manager during absence

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 to 15 years of broad experience in the areas of and project controls, scheduling, and cost estimating for major capital projects.
Around 5 years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role in project controls discipline.
