The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
SCOPE: Project Controls Lead as the Company Representative to the Contractor for multiple projects in the $5MM to $100MM range, or for a single project exceeding $100MM in scope. The Project Control Lead is directly accountable to the Project Lead and the Project Controls Supervisor to provide the project service deliverables for the team directly, and through the leadership and guidance of the cost and schedule resources assigned to the project.
The Project Controls Lead may be responsible for ensuring the Project Team follows the corporate and the Company scheduling standards and procedures.

The Project Control Lead may be accountable to:
•Define and request through the Project Control Supervisor the, number, type, duration and competency level of Project Control resources needed for the project.
•Define the Project Services deliverables and accountabilities; delegate to Project Control resources and track/monitor/review/QA the completion.
•Lead Project Services resources to provide Project Services deliverables to Project Team in accordance with corporate and Company project management standards and procedures for:
-Cost Administration
-Change Management
•Promote the use of, and provide recommendations for, process improvement of the Company Project Management tools:
• EPMS - SAP-PS Module
• My Workplace
• Primavera P6
• SharePoint.
Communicate to the Project Lead and Manager of Project Controls Supervisor, scope, schedule or cost risks/opportunities in a timely manner.
•Communicate to the Project Controls Supervisor variances from the approved Company Standards and Policies.
•Provide feedback to Project Control Supervisor on project services personnel personal performance
•Be a leader in HSE performance by communicating, fostering, supporting, and enforcing CompanyI HSE policies, procedures, guidelines, requirements, and objectives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•7+ years Project Control experience in construction/Oil Industry Projects.
•Can use SAP, and has knowledge in Primavera/Planning and Excel.
•Willing to travel to Project site (Engineering Office, and Fabrication/Construction sites).
•Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering.
• Certification(s) in the project management discipline from a recognized organization (Primavera, PMI, AACE etc).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
• Demonstrated communication skills to influence contractors to implement the ConocoPhillips Alaska Capital Projects Organization Project Management Procedures.
•Demonstrated ability to drive creativity, innovation and continuous improvement.
•Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment.
•Ability to balances short and long term priorities.
•Personal accountability - makes commitments and is accountable for obtaining results.
•Flexibility - able to understand and adjust to changing conditions.
•Self-motivated, team player.
