The Role:
Project Controls Manager - Italian speaking advantageous

1. JOB PURPOSE
The Project Controls Manager is responsible for controlling the progress of the project, ensuring resource availability and allocating the same, coordinating with various departments and external agencies,and reporting.

1 Support the Project Manager to drive Project Management for client project.
• Support in Preparation of Project Contract & Project execution plan of client project and get this approved by client.
• Support in Strategizing & executing pre & post Project execution plan / initiatives
• Coordinating with Client representatives, TPIs, CAs & other stake holders related to project.
• Client Correspondences

2 Control of Project Progress
• To develop and maintain detailed projects schedules at Level 0,1,2,3 as required by Client.
• To interact with Client and finalize the Master Schedule / Baseline Schedule
• Prepare CRITICAL ACTIVITY list and track critical activities.
• To prepare the Targets / Milestone Plan
• To prepare Discipline wise Look ahead Schedule and coordinate with Project Team to ensure the works are completed / tracked to avoid any delays in the execution and understand the obstructions / hindrances to work out mitigation plan.
• To track and coordinate the progress of the project on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the project is on-track.
• Prepare Progress Revised Schedule / Progress Catch Up schedule as on when required.
• Monitoring the expended cost and commitment through requisition and invoice review and present the accurate forecast cost during the monthly reviews.
• Preparation of Project Progress Methodology and tracking the same. Based on the project variances, prepare and highlight the areas of concerns and work out the mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with all Discipline heads to incorporate the understandings in the schedule / progress reports and interact to make each discipline head understand the progress hindrances.

Establish & develop systems to execute EPC projects
• Continuous Interface with Client
• Periodical Review of Project Contract with Project Manager / Construction Manager
• Support Project Manager to Development of Project Execution Plan
• Support Project Manager to Establish Quality Plan
• To establish Project Controls systems & process to ensure seamless operations across all regions.
• Establish Project Organization and staff accordingly to meet Project Controls requirements
• Manage Scheduled project activities
• Monitor and control man hours and expenditures against Project Budget
• Report to Management Project status and significant project issues
• To invoice client on timely basis
• Prepare Monthly Invoice Targets and track the progress to ensure all back-ups are ready to immediate raising of invoices as per the set target.
• Prepare Cash Flow in coordination with Finance and track it on monthly basis.


4 Change Management
• Preparing Contract Rights & Obligation plan in coordination with Contracts Head
• Timely Intimation and raising of Change Orders to Client for any increased scope or deviations or Company’s instructions or additional works resulting due to reasons not attributable to EPL.
• Preparation of Quantitative and Qualitative details of the Change Order and ensuring its acceptance by Client.
• Continuous discussion with Team to ensure the understanding of the Change Order concepts by the Construction and other discipline personnel.
• Regular follow up with Team and Client for the Change Orders.


4. KEY CHALLENGES
• To complete client project in scheduled time, cost and desired quality standard.
• Develop Project Management capability of the EPL in relation to ongoing and prospective Offshore EPC projects for client.
• Establishing strong relations with Clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Continuously innovate & contribute to improve the processes & systems

1. All aspects concerning the Project execution The Project Manager will ensure that procedures developed for the project are followed and adhered to throughout the life of the project

1. Recommending options on Managing & controlling the Projects.

1. With Project Manager to discuss strategic plans pertaining the marketing & business development.

9. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
A. Educational Qualifications & Certification:
1. BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil or Ocean & /or
2. Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration (MBA) from an institute of repute.
3. Training & Hand on Experience in Primavera Project Planner

B. Total Years of Experience & Others:
1. 10 - 15 years of experience with proven track record in Hydrocarbon EPC sector.
2. Should have successfully executed EPC Hydrocarbon project worth 500 Mill USD.
3. Should have been a people manager with a minimum of 4 to 6 Direct Reports
4. Good commercial and business acumen
