The Role:
• Ensures the project is conducted in compliance with company
• Contributes to project development
• Develops and implements project control/services execution strategies
• Prepares procedures for various project control activities including budget preparation, forecasts and related cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions
• Facilitates risk mitigation and contingency planning process
• Supervises estimating, cost control, planning/scheduling, risk management, and related project service activities
• Interfaces and coordinates with the Planning and Scheduling Specialist to ensure that data is incorporated into the integrated project schedule
• Manages cost engineering activities including development and implementation of cost control systems, invoice processing activities, monthly cost reporting, trending, cost variance analysis, funding budgets and cash flows
• Manages cost estimating/forecasting activities including periodic project re-estimates and cost benchmark metrics
• Manages planning & scheduling activities including development of summary and detailed project schedules, progress and performance monitoring, schedule deviations and workaround solutions; plans and manages the execution of internal audits of critical commercial internal control systems
• Act as project controls liaison on audits carried out by partners, in country regulatory authorities and internal auditing
• Works with the business unit to ensure all tax and accounting issues are known/understood/addressed
• Coordinates the project report (weekly and monthly) preparation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Major international project experience in a controls supervisory / lead role; UK North Sea experience preferred
• Has clearly demonstrated strong functional competence
• Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment
• Demonstrated interpersonal/teambuilding skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
