The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The Project Controls Manager is based on the Downstream Project Controls team for a major multi billion dollar LNG project now in construction. The role will be based in Perth for an initial 12 month period but will run for approximately 3 years.

The Downstream Project Controls Manager leads all business management functions for the Downstream project including planning, cost and schedule controls, contracting, estimating, information management, analysis and reporting, accounting, mangement of change and office administration.

Responsibilities for the business management function span allDownstream sites and multiple offices in London, Singapore, Perth and other yards and office locations.
Ensure effective and consistent project controls processes and procedures are in place for both company and Contractor, and that the multiple project locations use these processes and procedures to ensure project controls deliverables meet the content and quality expectations of Downstream Project management and the overall Project Central management team.
Ensure that the entire project control organisation is staffed with the proper number and quality of project controls personnel in the various locations.
Consult with various Downstream site managers on their continuing project controls needs and the ongoing effectiveness of their current project controls team.
Steward the project controls team to provide cost, schedule, progress, and manpower reporting that is accurate and forward looking.
Ensure that the teams have provided proper analysis of the data and that the reports present management with the high quality intelligence they need to make decisions.
Work with management to provide progress and cost presentations as needed.
Prepare ad hoc reporting as requested.
Ensure that scheduling and milestone development is performed in close collaboration and coordination all project teams and schedule owners.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The effective candidate will not only require good technical project controls skills but must also be adept at building and maintaining relationships at multiple levels.
Extensive Project Controls experience is required on major LNG projects.
