The Role:
PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER – PERTH CBD, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION – MINING PROJECT - $EXC REMUNERATION (NEGOTIABLE FOR THE RIGHT PERSON)
AUSTRALIAN WORKING VISA REQUIRED

As a result of my Client’s continued expansion into WA’s mining industry and the continued success of repeat project work they are currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to work on one of their exciting new mining projects.
Reporting directly to the Functional Manager you will have a key responsibility across all project service disciplines throughout this project and your proven background in project controls will enable you to successfully carry out the project services functionality from start to finish with a focus on timely and professional service delivery.

Primary objectives of this position will cover the following:

• Overall Project Cost Functions
• Overall Project Schedule Functions
• Overall Project Estimating Functions
• Project Accounting Functions (Directly on Project)
• Summary Progress Measurement
• Internal and External Project Reporting
• Interface for Project Controls to External and Internal Customers

Requirements

Successful applicants will require the following experience to be successful in this role:

• 8 to 10 years’ experience in project services field; Typically 5+ years supervisory and/or management experience in the Mining (iron ore) industry
• Strong experience with FEED and studies stages of projects
• A degree in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent or relevant experience.
• The ability to effectively communicate and present complex program proposals and reports to senior level management
• Experience with Project Controls software packages such as CMS, Oracle and Prediction
