The Company:

The Role:
A senior coordination role with the specific purpose of removing the administrative burden from the Opportunity Manager/Project Manager (OM/PM), Facilities Lead and Subsea Execution Team permitting them to devote their energies to the technical aspects of the project and stakeholder management.

• Assistance to the Opportunity Manager/Project Manager to ensure consistent use of internal management systems
• Assistance with preparation for internal reviews – Value Assurance Review’s (VAR), Project Execution Review Teams (PERT), Health-checks, Estimate and Schedule Assurance Review (ESAR) etc.
• Application of Discipline Controls And Framework (DCAF)
• Risk & Opportunity management (incl. EasyRisk)
• Interface Management
• Action tracking and expediting actions to closure
• Collation of monthly reports and production of ad-hoc project briefing documents
• Coordination with cost/planning (incl. P3e plans/schedules)
• Coordination with document control/tracking function (linking with project services)
• Coordination with Facility Status Reporting (FSR) focal point and project team for recording deviations
• Project change control process
• Capture and communication of lessons learned
• Planning of critical project offshore activity with particular emphasis on cross company activity eg. STP Room, OilStates Caisson Connector, Curlew DTR
• Promotion and application of “Technical Limit”, and Eliminate Simplify, Standardise, Automate (ESSA) philosophies whenever and wherever appropriate.
• Facilitation of appropriate workshops/meetings as and when required eg. Risk identification, Opportunity framing, Start the well on paper, SWOT sessions etc.
• Liaise with corporate HSEQ to ensure alignment of project delivery with corporate policies and to provide assistance with rollout of corporate initiatives eg. EP64, DCAF, Integrated Project Management System (IPMS) etc.
• Depending on size/scope of project and project team competencies, the Coordinator may at times stand in for the Project Manager or act as an Interim Project Manager
• The Project Coordinator can be assigned to projects on a full or part-time basis during any or several phases of a project but usually begins their involvement during “Select” and continues through to the end of “Execution”.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in a Coordinator role for large/busy Oil & Gas projects
