The Company:
An international Oil & Gas company with extensive projects on the west coast of Africa.

The Role:
A project coordinator to sit with the Project Service team and reporting into the Project Services Manager.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and possesses excellent project skills & be able to effectively interact with all engineering & project teams on the business unit. This will then allow for effective reporting & planning of manpower requirements.

Project Resourcing Processes
• Provide quality project staff and headcount data to key groups both within and outside the country as required
• Liaise with supply chain to support the recruitment of Agency personnel (Contingent Labour).
• Manage the delivery of the P&O update to feed into the Regional Finance planning process.

Project Manpower Planning
• Manage the Personnel Approval process for the project
• Manage the delivery of the project Manpower Planning processes, including approval of manpower data held within supply chain & procurement, and reporting of data into the respective project teams and central business operations
• Manage manpower data within PSPC on behalf of the project management team
• Provide regular updated manpower forecasts, recognising and incorporating the impact of changing resource requirements within Project Delivery and Functional teams.
• Liaise with base business to understand the Manpower requirements of individual projects against base busines, ensuring Manpower plans reflect the mobilisation and demobilisation through the Project Stage Gates.
• Provide headcount data to the Cost Engineers to support the forecasting of Owners Team Costs

Key to the role is in ensuring best practices from across base business are shared and embedded within the projects processes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of project reporting processes
High level of IT competency, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Pro-active work ethic, with the ability to intervene and take the lead in resolving issues that may arise, ability to work without close supervision
Track record of interacting with senior management and working to challenging deadlines

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of project manpower processes
Experience in a Project Service OR Project Controls environment
